The release is assembled on your device

When you fill the form and generate a release, SignedShoot assembles the document and builds the PDF and Word file using JavaScript in your own browser. The subject's name, the photographer's name, the studio details, the shoot date, and the location stay on your machine — not sent to SignedShoot, not stored, not logged, and not used to train anything.

What we do receive

• Payment information. When you unlock a release, checkout is handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to SignedShoot. We receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded and a Stripe session identifier.
• Your email, if you give it. If you enter a studio email, we may pass it to Stripe to pre-fill checkout and send a receipt. We use it only for that transaction and for support if you contact us.
• Anonymous usage events. We record lightweight events — that a preview was generated, that checkout started — to understand which release types are used. These events do not include the names or details from your release.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and our own first-party event log to measure traffic and conversions. These record page views, referrers, and the anonymous usage events above. They do not capture the contents of any release you build.

Cookies

SignedShoot sets a small number of cookies: one for an A/B test on the pricing page, and the cookies Google Analytics uses to count visits. None of them carry the contents of a release.

Generated documents are not legal advice

SignedShoot provides document templates that reflect standard industry practice for photography and videography releases. We are not a law firm, and using SignedShoot does not create an attorney-client relationship. Every generated document carries a clear notice to this effect.
